Field Rules:
Violations of any of the following rules will result in but not limited to immediate removal from the premises!
National City Pop Warner proudly enforces “ZERO TOLERANCE”
1. No Tobacco or Alcoholic Beverages allowed on the premises.
2. No Coolers, Ice Chests, Igloos, etc., allowed in the stands and/or parking areas.
a. Teams scheduled for play are allowed to bring in their team snacks and drinks in a cooler, but it must stay with the team on the sideline at all times. It will not be
allowed in the stands. All “Coolers” are subject to search without notice. Head Coaches are responsible for checking in the team cooler with the field director or other
executive member of the National City Pop Warner organization.
3. No Animals (To Include but not limited to: Dogs, Cats, Snakes) will not be allowed on the premises.
4. Only coaches, team parents, business managers, board members & referees with proper/current league issued badges will be allowed on/or around the
immediate field of play.
5. All parking laws will be enforced & reported to the authorities. Park only in marked stalls. No parking on campus will be allowed, with the exception of
campus parking areas. Do not block, double park, or leave vehicle in fire lanes or blocking other vehicles. Only vehicles displaying Handicap placards are allowed to
park in Handicap. Violations will be reported immediately to the authorities & vehicles will be towed at owner’s expense. (National City Police Dept. (619)336-4411)
6. No photography and/or video filming will be allowed on the field without prior written consent to and from the field manager 24 hours prior to the scheduled
game. No Exceptions.
7. All head coaches from both the visiting and home teams must check out with the Field Manager or designee prior to the dismissal of their teams. Teams are
responsible for picking up their trash as well as their spectator’s trash prior to leaving the field. Please inform your team’s spectators to clean up after themselves and
their guests.
8. The Field Manager, his assistants, and school administration have the authority to remove any and all parties that do not follow the field rules, the rules
governing the parent code of conduct, the players codes of conduct, & the rules set forth by the association, San Diego Pop Warner & by Pop Warner National,
Little Scholars Inc.
9. National City Fire Code strictly prohibits the sitting or standing in isle-ways, stair ways, on or near the railings at the top or bottom of the stadium bleachers.
For your safety and for the courtesy of those around you please keep these areas clear.
NOTE: All coaches will be held accountable for the actions & the conduct of their sideline, spectators & players on & off the field. This is not limited to just during their
scheduled game. Please inform all parties traveling to Sweetwater High School of all rules. Failure to adhere to these rules will result in but not limited to forfeiture of the
game! (Section 4- Coaches Code of Contact & Sportsmanship #9 “Together with team officials, be jointly responsible for the conduct and control of team fans and
spectators. Any fan who becomes a nuisance & out of control will be asked to leave.” & #19 “Control their fans. Remember as a team coach, you are responsible for your
team, & fan reaction will usually be in step with your reaction.”)
Code of Conduct
The Diablos are committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all fans, in and around Gail Dever’s Stadium. We want all fans attending our
games to enjoy the experience in a responsible fashion.
Fans who demonstrate inappropriate and disruptive behavior, including the following, are subject to ejection and risk losing their privileges to attend further games for:
• Consumption of alcohol on campus
• Being under the influence of alcohol or illicit substance
• Obscene, offensive or abusive language or actions
• Fighting, or otherwise dangerous, abusive or profane behavior
• Unruly or inconsiderate behavior
• Indecent exposure or undressing
• Wearing obscene or indecent clothing
• Smoking on campus
• Interfering with security procedures
• Interfering with the progress of the game, going onto the field or throwing any object onto the field or on the stadium premises.
Event guests are responsible for their conduct as well as the conduct of their guests.
National City Pop Warner Board Members will promptly intervene to support an environment where parents, their guests, and other fans can enjoy the event free from
the above behavior. Parents, Families and guests will be subject to ejection and potential loss of privileges for future games for violations of the Code of Conduct.
